Description
A hands-on innovation & product development training series from JSS Mahavidyapeetha and SJCE-STEP. Master the end-to-end journey from problem identification and design thinking to hands-on rapid prototyping, 3D printing, CNC machining, IP filing, and successful product commercialisation.
What you will learn in this cohort:
- Identify Real-World Problems: Discover unmet needs and formulate high-impact problem statements through Design Thinking, stakeholder interviews, and user observation.
- Generate Innovative Ideas: Translate insights into breakthrough product concepts with structured brainstorming, feasibility filtering, and creative ideation.
- Design & Develop Prototypes: Master prototyping methodologies from early-stage conceptual sketches to functional electro-mechanical models and CAD designs.
- Explore 3D Printing Technologies: Gain hands-on experience with additive manufacturing, slicing software, infill strategies, material selection, and rapid iteration.
- Learn CNC Manufacturing: Understand subtractive precision manufacturing, CNC machine setup, G-code/M-code programming, and workshop safety protocols.

Upon successfully completing all 9 sessions and defending your capstone hardware prototype, receive an official digital and physical certificate verified by the SJCE-STEP incubation board.
